Commemorating Heritage: Liverpool Celebrates Black History Month with Windrush Advocates

Liverpool Advocates for Windrush (LAW) cordially invites the community to a distinguished event marking Black History Month, set to transpire on the 11th of November, 2023. This event, housed within the welcoming confines of Crawford House on Upper Warwick Street, Liverpool, is designed to be a resonant homage to African-Caribbean and Commonwealth cultures.

From 11 am to 4 pm, attendees will be treated to a rich tapestry of themed music, alongside a luncheon exclusively for those who have confirmed their attendance. In a nod to accessibility and inclusivity, the proceedings will also be broadcast live via Zoom, ensuring that distance poses no barrier to participation.

As anticipation builds, the organisers encourage prospective attendees to secure their participation through an RSVP. This significant event is not merely a retrospective but a vibrant, living celebration of Black heritage and the enduring legacy of the Windrush generation. Full details are available on the Liverpool Advocates for Windrush website, where the spirit of community and shared history is alive and thriving.
